1. INTRODUCTION
1.1. GROWUP IS COMMITTED TO ETHICAL BUSINESS PRACTICE AND CONDUCTS ITS BUSINESS ACTIVITIES ACCORDANCE WITH THE UNITED NATIONS GLOBAL COMPACT PRINCIPLES (THE UNGCP).
1.2. THIS CODE AIMS TO HELP US MAINTAIN THIS COMMITMENT BY SETTING STANDARDS FOR OUR SUPPLIERS TO RESPECT AND ADHERE TO WHEN CONDUCTING BUSINESS WITH US.
1.3. IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY AS A SUPPLIER TO ENSURE YOUR EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, SUBCONTRACTORS, AND OTHER REPRESENTATIVES ARE INFORMED OF AND CONDUCT THEIR ACTIVITIES IN ACCORDANCE WITH THIS CODE.
1.4. WE CONSIDER A SUPPLIER TO MEAN ANY ORGANISATION OR INDIVIDUAL THAT PROVIDES A PRODUCT AND/OR A SERVICE TO GROWUP.
2. HUMAN RIGHTS
2.1. PRINCIPLE 1 – SUPPLIERS SHOULD SUPPORT AND RESPECT THE PROTECTION OF INTERNATIONALLY PROCLAIMED HUMAN RIGHTS.
2.2. PRINCIPLE 2 – SUPPLIERS SHOULD MAKE SURE THAT THEY ARE NOT COMPLICIT IN HUMAN RIGHTS ABUSES.
3. LABOUR
3.1. SUPPLIERS SHOULD UPHOLD THE FREEDOM OF ASSOCIATION AND THE EFFECTIVE RECOGNITION OF THE RIGHT TO COLLECTIVE BARGAINING.
3.2. PRINCIPLE 4 – SUPPLIERS SHOULD COMMIT TO THE ELIMINATION OF ALL FORMS OF FORCED AND COMPULSORY LABOUR.
3.3. PRINCIPLE 5 – SUPPLIERS SHOULD COMMIT TO THE ABOLITION OF CHILD LABOUR.
3.4.PRINCIPLE 6 – SUPPLIERS SHOULD COMMIT TO THE ELIMINATION OF DISCRIMINATION IN RESPECT OF EMPLOYMENT AND OCCUPATION.
3.5. SUPPLIERS SHOULD, FOR ITS EMPLOYEES WHO PROVIDE A SERVICE TO OR ON BEHALF OF GROWUP, PAY ALL EMPLOYEES AGED 18 OR OVER NOT LESS THAN THE CURRENT REAL LIVING WAGE. SUPPLIERS SHOULD INCREASE THIS AMOUNT BY THE SAME AMOUNT AS ANY INCREASE TO THE REAL LIVING WAGE WITHIN 6 MONTHS OF THE DATE ON WHICH ANY INCREASE IS OFFICIALLY ANNOUNCED.

3.6. THE SUPPLIER SHOULD ENSURE THAT ALL CONTRACTORS AND THIRD PARTIES ENGAGED IN THE PROVISION OF SERVICES TO GROWUP ABIDE BY THE TERMS OF 3.5.
4. ENVIRONMENT
4.1. PRINCIPLE 7 – SUPPLIERS SHOULD TAKE A PRECAUTIONARY APPROACH TO ENVIRONMENTAL CHALLENGES.
4.2. PRINCIPLE 8 – SUPPLIERS SHOULD UNDERTAKE INITIATIVES TO PROMOTE GREATER ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSIBILITY.
4.3. PRINCIPLE 9 – SUPPLIERS SHOULD ENCOURAGE THE DEVELOPMENT AND DIFFUSION OF ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY TECHNOLOGIES.
5. ANTI CORRUPTION
5.1.PRINCIPLE 10 – SUPPLIERS SHOULD WORK AGAINST CORRUPTION IN ALL ITS FORMS, INCLUDING EXTORTION AND BRIBERY.
6. PUTTING THE CODE INTO PRACTICE
6.1. IF YOU BECOME AWARE OF ANY FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THIS CODE OF CONDUCT (INCLUDING ANY FAILURE BY A WORKER OF GROWUP OR ANYONE ACTING ON BEHALF OF GROWUP), THIS SHOULD BE REPORTED TO GROWUP AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. FAILURE TO DO SO WILL BE A BREACH OF THIS CODE OF CONDUCT.
6.2. GROWUP STRONGLY SUPPORTS A CULTURE OF SPEAKING UP FOR BOTH SUPPLIERS AND THEIR WORKERS WITHOUT FEAR OF RETALIATION AGAINST THOSE WHO REPORT ACTUAL OR SUSPECTED BREACHES.
6.3. A SUPPLIER, ITS EMPLOYEES, WORKERS OR CONTRACTORS MAY REPORT ACTUAL OR SUSPECTED BREACHES OF THIS CODE TO GROWUP BY PHONE OR BY EMAIL. REPORTS CAN BE SUBMITTED CONFIDENTIALLY AND ANONYMOUSLY (WHERE PERMITTED BY LAW).
6.4. GROWUP WILL INVESTIGATE ANY CONCERN RAISED AND DISCUSS FINDINGS WITH THE SUPPLIER IN QUESTION.
6.5. WE EXPECT OUR SUPPLIERS TO ASSIST WITH ANY SUCH INVESTIGATION AND PROVIDE ACCESS TO ANY INFORMATION REASONABLY REQUESTED.
6.6. IF A SUPPLIER BREACHES THIS CODE OF CONDUCT, GROWUP WILL ADVISE THE SUPPLIER OF THE RELEVANT SANCTION WHICH COULD INCLUDE TERMINATION OF THE SUPPLIER ENGAGEMENT, SUSPENSION OF THE SUPPLIER ENGAGEMENT OR REMEDIAL ACTION.
6.7. IF REMEDIATION IS REQUIRED, SUPPLIERS WILL DEVISE AND INFORM GROWUP OF THEIR CORRECTIVE ACTION AND IMPLEMENTATION PLANS AND TIMELINE TO EFFECTIVELY AND PROMPTLY RESOLVE THE ISSUE.
